Eight Legs Good, Four Legs Bad
Tonight at The Ram in Kingston sixteen very brave players played on even though it was spitting outside a bit, it didn't stop them and they dug in.
There were questions about George Orwell and questions about dogs. There was hardly any subject that there wasn't a question on.
The finale according to one team (Shut Up Frankie) was as tense and close as the American elections. That's putting it mildly.
There was one team that scored more points than any of their rivals. There were four of them in all. Four ordinary human beings. Between them they had eight legs. Count them, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Together they became eight legged desk because they were sitting at a table that looked like a desk.
They played hard, they played well. First time quizzers some of them.
Something tells me we're going to be seeing a lot more of eight legged desk.
