It's all in a name!
Here at Questionone.com we encourage our competitors to be creative and a touch on the wild side and tonights names in the most were just that and made the difference at the end of the night.
With 42 people making up 11 teams this meant that even before the first question had been read out £42 had been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
At the halfway stage regulars Sullicos Express were a couple of points clear of the very evenly matched chasing pack. However to spice things up we included an optional Mannequin Challenge which had the effect of causing utter chaos within the ranks making for extremely varied second half scores.
In the end however it was a slim victory to deserving winners Sprout of the Unarmed Fudge who were aided by their name and being the fastest out of the blocks in the anagram round. Their prize a £50 meal voucher.
We lost a team at halfway but had 2 teams drawing for last place. The tiebreak question was about to be asked when the very galant team representing Poland, Dupa conceded handing the popular second last place over to a very happy Team B who collected the bottle of wine as their prize.
A great evening in which the late stand in quizmaster agreed to be humiliated by singing the lyrics round to his own and the audience's embarrassment.
