X Marks the Spot
Trivia Night Tuesday at Grape and Grain was the place to be with a rambunctious crowd eager to answer questions and score some points.
The Paper Plane Competition was no competition for “The Trivia-nators” who hit the X on the wall with no one close to taking the free drink away from them.
As well as a free drink, “The Trivia-nators” also won the Wooden Spoon of Defeat with their ending score of 23 points; slowly filling up their utensil drawer. In third place, missing a few members, were “Less Far King’s Mart” with 45 points. A tiebreaker ensued for first and second place as the top two teams totalled 49 points each. The question: “how many stairs are there to the top platform of the Eiffel Tower?” One team guessed 250, the other 1302. The correct answer is 1710! Which left “John Cusak and the Serendipities” in second place winning the $20 Chameleon Junction voucher. “Hi, My Name is Jacob and I Want To Wish Tamara the Happiest of Birthdays - I Love You” won first place, bragging rights for a week, and a $50 voucher to Grape and Grain! Congratulations!
