Five Teams and a Dog in Catford
A great night at always friendly Catford Constitutional saw five teams battle it out for a £50 bar tab, plus opportunities for free drinks, free crisps and a chance to win the cash jackpot.
'The Quizee Rascals' surprised themselves by not doing as badly as they originally thought they were, and they made a great recovery in the second half.
'Blythe Spirit' won crisps and a go at Play Your Cards Right, which they sadly lost. But impressively one half of them was a former Ice Hockey Goal Tender for Great Britain - so he wasn’t too stretched by question 26: “What is the correct term for the goalie in ice hockey?”
'Catfished' should really have been called 'Caninefished' as they had a really beautiful and good-natured four-legged friend helping them to come in third.
'The Nerve Agents' came second but impressed everyone by working out the anagram in what seemed like 0.5 of a second.
And 'Fu*k Knows' (censorship by Quiz Master not the team) came first, with an impressive 33 points - winning the £50 bar tab, which may well be being used tomorrow on one of the teams birthday!
Thanks to everyone who came and took part in another fantastic evening! :)Disclaimer: Blog posts are written by our Quiz hosts.
