A Double Tie-Break
A busy quiz at The Eagle last night with twenty teams and eighty-seven people in total competing for the prize of £174 cash!
In the end, two teams finished with 35 points so a tie-break question was needed. Quizmaster Richard Linton gave clues which related to a particular year, (1995), both teams suggested 1996 so a second tie-break was required. This time the team which gave the answer nearer to the correct length of the Trans-Siberian railway would win the £174 pot. Finally, a winner, "Windows'95 Screensaver" the team whose answer was nearer!
Always a great atmosphere and a great prize to be won. The Eagle in Hoxton every Wednesday from 7 pm.
