The Important Things
It was a smashing night. Everybody had a laugh and that is what it's all about. It was Emma's last night at The Falcon and it was a lot of fun. There was a lot of cruel scoring. It reminds me of those David Attenborough programmes, how cruel nature is, lions hunting gazelles. You think oh no, will there be any mercy?
But no there is no mercy.
The lions rip the poor animal apart causing immense harm.
That is what some of the scoring was like tonight.
However you can't stop nature. It's everywhere.
There was no prize for last place but if there was it would have been won by "Quiz On Me Timbers".
But tonight the most sensational win of the evening went to "Theresa May's Leaving Do".
They had a terrific first half and then they had an even better second half but would that alone be enough?
Even though they scored more points than anybody else would that be enough?
Yes it was enough.
They won the first prize.
It is indeed a life defining moment. Something to tell the grand kids about.
Thank you all for being a part of this and good luck to Emma. I wouldn't be surprised if she came back as a Quizzer in the near future.
