Double Tie-break!

Richard L

A very unusual finish to last Sunday's quiz at The Hare & Hounds in Osterley. Two teams tied for the second to last place which carries a bottle of house wine prize and three teams tied for the honour of winning.
Excitement grew as quizmaster Richard Linton read out two tie-break questions. The number of number one hits which Elvis had in the UK (21) resulted in a win for Hot Hooves a team of just two, the guess being nearer thanthe one provided by Daytime Drinkers.
For top place, the teams in the tie-break were asked to guess the population of Iran. Tango Whisky provided the best guess being a mere 3 million people out!
