Hard Day's Night earned the top spot

Richard L

Although most actors have good speaking voices and can project, it's not easy when there are corners! In the Hare and Hounds last night, in the abscence of a microphone, Quizmaster Richard Linton had to try to communicate to six teams in two rooms. Not an easy task but things were going well with all teams being checked to make sure that they had heard all the questions when suddenly one of the staff ran from behind the bar with good news - the microphone had been found! Relief all round and there was even some good natured banter about who might have moved the mic from it's normal resting place. In the end six teams battled for victory with Hard Day's Knights winning by one point.
