Delicious homemade Christmas biscuit? Don't mind if I do

It was snowy cold outside but cosy and snuggly warm inside the Kings Arms tonight thanks to the glowing fire, the bonhomie of the players and the joviality of the Christmas jumpers.
Quiz-Team-A-Aguilera understood the dangers of transportation to take the first bonus drink whilst Like Kyle, but... knew of a fate worse than life imprisonment to take the second.
The anagram challenge was hotly contested with many almost making it save for the dubbing. It was 'Quiz-Team-A-Aguilera' who thought to kneel first and thus were crowned with the bonus point.
At the end of the evening it was 'Insert Name Here↓' who secured the second to last place position and the coveted bottle of wine prize. Meanwhile at the top of the table it was a mere half a point between the top two contenders but at the end of the day it was'Like Kyle', but... with the lovely visitors from across the pond who just snack ahead to take the top prize £30 bar tab.
Everyone knew the sparkling bird, how many times to go 'wow!' and the super brat of the centre court but the sun went down on Captain Frans Banninck Cocq's command.
Last quiz for 2017 next Sunday - there may be carols...
