Was it the 'luck of the Irish' that brought victory for 'Bankrupt by sugar tax'?

Jason T

What a busy, fun packed Plough during the latest quiz, complete with an Irish disco as a backing track as we celebrated a St Patrick's Day quiz. It was great to see new and old faces aplenty. A special mention needs to go to our regular stalwarts, The Pruners who came first at the end of round one and only missed out winning by a point in the second round. As it was, our victors of the night were a fab team that had escaped their usual child care duties and masqueraded as 'Bankrupt by Sugar Tax'. We wished some luck to Suibhne (his aptly Irish middle name)who leaves these shores to join his girlfriend in Canada. Come and join the fun every Thursday at this friendly East Dulwich pub quiz.
