The Night It All Happened
In the baking hot sun of a Kingston night 33 brave players faced the challenge of their lives. 33 quizzers from various parts of the world played a quiz for nearly two hours in The Ram, Kingston knowing that not all of them would make it through with their self esteem still intact.
Who were the 33? Let's count them shall we?
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, twenty four, twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight, twenty nine, thirty, thirty one, thirty two and of course thirty three.
That's thirty three brave players in one place at the same time.
Multiple winners John and Tonic were trailing in second place at the end of the first half with Boats and Hoes leading by one point.
There was also the Play Your Cards Right. Richard didn't win but that doesn't matter. It's not about the winning because we never have any of those (of course they do)
But John and Tonic stormed to a merciless victory tonight. They took no prisoners and lavished themselves in the thousands of pence worth of bar tab they took home.
Well done John and Tonic. And well done everyone else. You deserve it.Disclaimer: Blog posts are written by our Quiz hosts. Any opinions or views expressed may or may not be shared by Question One Limited. If you feel the material here is inappropriate please report it to us so we may address it.
