An exciting start to 2018

Graham E

Our first quiz of the New Year was a thrilling affair that saw a tense stand-off between two of our longstanding teams 'Red lorry yellow lorry' and 'ICSC', who had both finished on 34 points. In the end, it was the boys of the Imperial College Sailing Club who grasped victory and a £40 bar tab by coming closest to estimating the cost of the Large Hadron Collider (£2.8 billion). Regulars 'And then there were 3!' didn't let their less-than-full-strength team number prevent them from winning something, as they came away with the bottle of wine for second-to-last. The jackpot wasn't won, so will roll over to next week when it should be around £100!
